Evaluation Question 3
From audience feedback, i have learnt to keep my work consistent. The main criticism gained from the video was that there were too many performance shots and not enough filling shots. This would lend itself to not properly executing the video's narrative and so to have improved my video, i would have needed rto remove the large oak tree performance shots and replaced them with filling shots the ground, other people and also the surrounding area.
Evaluation Question 4
print screens of editing work in progress... these were the improvements made when i changed from final cut to premier pro... i was able to control my use of the editing tools, such as cross dissolve, razor tool and the maching of the audio and video.
STORY BOARD
This storyboeard helped develop my understanding of the composition of shots, how well a scene needs to be lit, and the overall mise-en-sene of the scene and how that creates the cinema verite style of shot for the audience.

Editing Update
Within today's lesson, the group took turns in editing. I managed to complete a section of editing that the group agreed upon. After the lesson Tyrone and I stayed back to finalise some of the shots in part of the video. This was delayed slightly because the track seemed not to play properly for a short period of time. After this issue had passed we began to make a head start on the end of the video. Looking back at the storyboard, the vision of the ending had changed however it still kept the same emotive clarity. We took the end of the intro of the voice over and used the last couple of sentences and repeated it along with some text. This tied the basic idea of the video together.
Editing update
The group has now completed the sorting out of shots- good and bad. Tyrone and I spent today fixing some of the issues we had encountered with final cut. The rendering of shots appeared to take too long for us to get a substantial amount of editing complete. We finally realised that the issues was due to the sequence we were on and so we changed from sequence 1 to sequence 2 which allowed us to move the individual clips without having to re-render.
Editing update.
Today Tyrone and I managed to do the intro for the music video. The recording that the group used of my voice for the voice over, was edited well and in beat the the transitions and assortment of shots. It managed to create impact and in my opinion reflected an almost 'twilight saga' imitation, with the couple and the forest clips. We managed to layer the clips with fading transitions that emphasised the mental state of the main performer. Today was successful.
Editing update
Today tyrone, Kitty, Zire and I spent the hour sorting out a few of the video clips. We formulated a system whereby we colour coded the clips to figure out if they were unuseable, okay clips or if they were good enough for us to use entirely. We were able to agree on the majority of the clips. Today was successful.

Teacher Feedback
Akilah, well done for achieving your last target. You must show evidence of the editing in a weekly update, in addition to ensuring that you work collaboratively with your group to finish the production to a high standard by the set deadline.

shooting
Today Tyrone and I went to a park in Barn Hill with our main performer Simran and captured some performance shots of her singing and also narrative shots of her appearing through trees, searching for herself near a lake and her remenising over her relationship on a bench. It was really successful as we managed to get some really good angles of her singing along with some tricky panning shots. Funnily enough we had to think outside of the box and use my art book to put the video camera on to steady the camera. It worked very well.
shooting
Tyrone and I managed to travel down to great portlands street with the main performer and capture some performance and shots but mainly narrative shots. It went really well today as we managed to get alot done. It did snow and was cold today but we pushed and may have even completed all of our shooting for the video. If we do plan on doing one last shoot it will be with our model actor jp and our main actress Simran to capture shots of them arguing in a rough patch.

Tomorrow we plan to go to great portland street to finish off ourshooting for the video. We only need a few more takes to complete it. I have been playing around with some of the editing, changing the colours to create the right mood for the video.

Teacher Feedback
Akilah you have made some progress in showing evidence of your work in progress. You should add commentary to explain how the works has developed i.e. what you did to improve the work / achieve a particular effect etc. This is something that I'm sure you will aim to do as you and your group continue to edit the video and finalise the ancillary work.

video shooting
Today tyrone and i went to virginia waters to do some shooting allowing us to obtain most of the video footage. It was a very successful day as aswell as creating a good setting for the video, we managed to seek out good shooting locations within virgina waters. There was an area where a narrow path led about a 30 feet away from some stone steps which were covered in shubbery. This fit into the concept of our video as it created a sense that the performer was lost in search for something... almost alice in wonderland like.
