Mise-en-scene/ editing/camera techniques:
The actress in half of the video dressed in comfortable, cosy clothing such as a fluffy lilac jumper and leggings. This potrays this side of he as familiar and asthetically pleasing, especially to her female audience who can idenify with the look she is portraying. This look is relaxed and alike most girls at home in thier own space rather plain. The counter look that she has is a more dressy look/ an occassion look that spawns off two sides of her being thihs comfortable girlfriend to a sexy indedpendent woman. This ties in with the storyline of the video which involves flashbacks of a happy relationship and also the distant sides. Throughout most of the video, the location is set in the home of the  couple, building upon the storyline of a breakup creating a stronger sense of versimilitude. The fast, sharp editing matches his intended image- the intensity of the breakup and the emotions running between the couple. The actress singing her perfomance shots infront of a skyline of the city, creates a sense of a fast track city relationship that was full of ambition but was short lived.

Representations
In the music video, the artist, Leona Lewis is represented as a typical female who fell in love with an attractive man (similar to most audiences) experienced jealousy within a relationship and internally broke the realtionship down.

Audiences
The target audience for this video is young men and females who listen to R&B and those who can identify with this lifestyle and also young asults who look at this video and aspire to the first part of this relationship. It is also for those who like to watch emotive and self destructive videos and enjoy the ups and downs of love. This song isn’t a mainstream song as in it wasn’t in the charts and so It would adhere to fans of Leona Lewis as it may feel like more of a personal song for the individual. Audiences who are familiar with Leona’s work will watch this video and will identify with it as it is a mix between narrative and performance but leaning more so on narrative.
